Kendle Green Antiques

David and Anne Rhodes are experienced dealers, conservators and restorers of high quality French, English and Australian colonial antiques. David has spent over forty years crafting and restoring fine furniture and puts this expert knowledge to good use in the antique trade. He now runs a restoration and conservation workshop on the same premises as the antiques shop.

Furniture is sourced from within Australia and through contacts overseas, and any necessary conservation or restoration is personally undertaken by David in the workshop. David has worked with master clockmakers to restore and/or build reproduction clock cases. Some examples of this work may sometimes be found in the shop.

David and Anne have also consulted with collectors to furnish historic premises (business and domestic) in authentic style and can be called upon for this purpose. Situated on the old Sydney Road (now Table Top Road) just a short drive off the Hume Highway at Albury, Kendle Green is an essential stop off for antique enthusiasts en route from Melbourne to Canberra or Sydney and worth a special trip on its own.

We welcome any enquiries from our customers and will do our best to source the items required if we can.

We also offer on the premises:
